¡A mi amiga Chelo le ha aumentado la miopía! Es una mala noticia para su salud, pero una buena noticia para su estilo. ¡La excusa perfecta para renovar sus gafas! Me ha gustado mucho que Chelo, diseñadora de complementos, me pidiera opinión sobre las últimas tendencias. Aquí van algunas ideas.

My friend Chelo's myopia has increased! They're bad news for her health but good news for her style. The perfect excuse to buy some new glasses! I liked a lot that Chelo, an accessories designer, asked for my opinion about last trends. There some ideas go.

Pasta, en negro, carey o burdeos. La forma rectangular es la apuesta más segura. Sólo busca un modelo cuyas esquinas superiores apunten hacia arriba. Son la versión conservadora de las gafas con forma de ojo de gato.

Horn-rimmed, black, turtoise or burgundy. The rectangular shape is the safest bet. Just look for a style whose upper corners point towards up. They're the conservative version of cat eye shaped glasses. 

Ojos de gato. Es mi tendencia preferida por ser la más nueva y femenina. Bueno, no hace falta que diga que me encantan, ya habéis visto mis gafas nuevas, y la que no lo haya hecho, echad un vistazo a los posts anteriores. La mejor opción para este modelo es el color negro.

Cat eye shape. It's my favourite trend because it's the newest and the most feminine. Well, I don't need to say that I love them, you've already seen my new eyewear, and who doesn't, take a look on my previous posts. The best option for this style is colour black.

Si te encantan las gafas de pasta pero no te convencen ninguno de los estilos anteriores puedes optar por algo más grande. La forma más adecuada es la cuadrada. Cuidado, no sientan bien a todas las caras, ¡pueden parecer enormes!

If you love horn-rimmed glasses but the two previous styles don't convince you, you can choose something bigger. The most correct shape is the squared one, Be careful, they don't suit every face, they can look like enormous!

Si te decides por la pasta, atrévete con el carey. ¡Es tendencia!

If you decide to choose a horn-rimmed style, try with turtoise. It's trendy!

La alternativa a la pasta es el metal. No elijas un modelo con cristales pequeños, están pasados de moda. Es mejor que sean grandes. Plata, bronce y nude son los tonos ideales para la montura.

The alternative to horn-rimmed is metal. Don't choose a style with small lens, they're out. It's better they're big. Silver, bronze and nude are the ideal tones for the frame.

Montura completa o al aire. Tú decides. Pero recuerda, cristales grandes.

Full or half framed. You decide. But remember, big lens.

Y si te atreves con algo diferente, montura estilo aviador. Las tendencias en gafas de sol se adaptan para las gafas de vista. 

And if you dare with something different, pilot style frame. Trends for sunglasses get adapted to prescription glasses.
